Needle Tip

The tips of two different needles are observed under 40X magnification. One thing that is immediately apparent is the difference in the width and therefore the quality of the tips of these needles. One also appears to be blunt in comparison to the other needle. Surprisingly, this striking difference is not obvious on the macroscale that is observable to the naked eye. A microscale observation of needles is key to selecting a good quality needle.
